What is PALA?
PALA is an international academic association for those who work in stylistics, poetics, and associated fields of language and linguistics. Specific interests of PALA members include:

- lingusitics and philosophy

The Association is growing and now includes members from around fifty countries worldwide. It hosts an international conference annually, and sponsors seminars and symposia. The Association's journal, Language and Literature, is the foremost publication in the field. We also publish PALA Occasional Papers and conference proceedings, and maintain this website. PALA has a special interest in supporting postgraduate researchers and new academics. We welcome postgraduates, academic staff, critics and writers, and anyone interested in the above fields of study.
