The Poetics and Linguistics Association Podcast, sponsored by PALA. It is hosted on Podbean, and you can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Player FM and Google Podcasts.
The podcast is intended to share the research of PALA scholars in an accessible and engaging way; to help publicise what research in poetics, stylistics, language and linguistics can involve, and why it matters; to give a platform, in particular, to early career academics; and also to provide an opportunity for the sharing of methodological challenges. The intended audience is mainly academics and students but also members of the wider public with a general interest in these fields.
The first series, hosted and edited by Dr. Andrea Macrae, focusses on intersections between poetics, stylistics, language and linguistics research and sustainability (in its broader sense, including society, the environment and the economy).
