Papers from the PALA 2013 conference in Heidelberg are now freely available on-line from the PALA website. Each year all presenters of papers are invited to produce a written version of their papers for on-line publication.

It is with great sadness that we hear of the recent death of Lisa Lena Opas-Hänninen. Lisa Lena brightened up many PALA conferences with her lively enthusiasm and good spirits, and she will be missed.

PALA Summer School Published: 26 March 2013The third annual PALA Summer School will be held in Heidelberg for 3 days (Sunday 28 July to Tuesday 30 July) immediately preceding the annual conference, on the topic of Rhetoric and Multimodality. All PALA members are welcome to apply for a place.
