PALA in France
- The French Society of English Stylistics (Société de Stylistique Anglaise, SSA) is a learned society founded in 1978 under the aegis of the SAES (Société des Anglicistes de l’Enseignement Supérieur).
- The SSA is part of the international stylistic network within PALA (Poetics and Linguistics Association).
- It aims at promoting stylistics as a discipline in English Studies.
- It publishes a peer-reviewed journal entitled Etudes de Stylistique Anglaise which accepts academic contributions pertaining to literary and non-literary stylistics, poetics and discourse analysis (see section ESA journal).
