PRIZES
The Palgrave Prize is awarded each year for the best paper delivered at the conference by a student member of PALA. It is judged on the basis of written versions of the papers by the Chair of PALA and another person nominated by the Chair.

The PALA Prize is awarded for the best article published in the journal Language and Literature by a newcomer to the field. The prize currently consists of a subscription to the journal, membership of PALA for one year, and a £250 cash prize from Sage.
