Style in Fiction Symposium 2006
In 2005 PALA celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, and members voted for the most influential work in Stylistics in the past 25 years. The clear winner was Style in Fiction by Geoffrey Leech and Mick Short.
A symposium was held in February 2006 to make the award of the PALA 25 prize, and to celebrate twenty-five years of stylistics.
Videos of the presentations are available on-line at  http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/fass/events/styleinfiction/
(PALA members can log on with the same username and password that they used for the PALA website in 2007.)
